Our Program

At Blooming Petals Multicultural Childcare Centre, every child sees his/herself in our learning curriculum. We deliver early learning education using Montessori model; children in our care are provided with a variety of play options to explore different interests, and for creative expressive activities essential for skills development.

We are focused on co-operation and personal achievement rather than competition. Our staff support and appreciate children’s artistic efforts, regardless of their skill level, to nurture their creativity and self-confidence. 

We encourage the children to sample as many things (including food) as we can offer. Each day, time is set aside for the development of intellectual and problem-solving skills, for creative arts, for learning and the satisfaction of curiosity, for work, for recreational activities and group exercises, for unstructured play, and for rest and solitude. Preschool-age children take part in periodic field trips to such locations as libraries, museums, stores, etc.

Ensuring Staff Training and Professional Development

Providing comprehensive training for childcare staff is essential in equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to care for and educate young children. Our staff receive adequate training and periodic professional development on child development, health and safety procedures, behavior management strategies, positive communication techniques, and curriculum planning.
